Are you an agile redneck?

I couldn't help but laugh at this tweet from @agileredneck.

Funny, but it got me thinking – just how many of the agile planning tools out there today can be learnt in under 5 minutes? Learning a capable app in just five minutes is quite a tall order.

Let's make a list...

Which tools take five minutes or less to learn?

  • Real index cards, a pen, and a wall. The gold standard if your team are all in the same room.
  • Trello. Doesn't cope with estimates or iterations, so not as flexible as real cards, but it is intuitive. It's getting fairly complicated these days so might not quite fit within five minutes, but you can certainly get the gist of it fairly quickly.
  • Ummm...

Help me out here – can you list some more really easy to use agile apps in the comments? I've no doubt there'll be a couple, but I'm not sure that there are many.

I didn't add Agile Planner. I'll be the first to admit that it's not as good as a stack of real cards. I'm working on it...

I love feedback and questions; please get in touch on Twitter or ask a question in the comments.
